The National Street Rod Association has confirmed the dates for the Mid-America Street Rod Nationals coming to the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds in Springfield, Missouri. The festivities will begin on Friday, May 25th, and continue through the weekend to the evening of Sunday the 27th.
This is the twenty-fourth time the NSRA has chosen Springfield to host what promises to be the premier automotive event in the area. Vehicles from all across the country will gather at the Fairgrounds, and judging by past events, virtually every make and model of classic, street rod and muscle car dating from the 1950s through 1988 will be represented.
Other attractions will include automotive specialty company and aftermarket manufacturer displays, a “Women’s World” area consisting of various arts and crafts, and a massive swap meet area where enthusiasts can procure that hard-to-find automotive part for their vintage car. A large variety of food and drink, as well as live music, will be on hand all weekend.
Promising fun for the entire family, admission is $17 for adults and $6 for children between the ages of six and twelve. Kids five and under enter free. So don’t forget to mark your calendars and be there in May!
