Corvette Mike out of Anaheim, California presents one of the most beastly, pro-streeted Chevelles we’ve seen yet, this custom yellow-painted, ’65 SS.
The car is a show-quality heart stopper with all of the right pro-street features, including a Chassisworks, 4-link rear assembly, professionally-installed, adjustable billet coilovers, a narrowed 9-inch rear end, Moser 35-spline axles with a nodular spooled third member, 4.56 Richmond gears, 4-wheel disc brakes, a full roll cage and brand new wiring throughout. The car also features one of TCI’s all-aluminum, street/strip transmissions with a 3500-stall converter, trans brake and B & M ratchet shifter.
Corvette Mike’s pro-streeted Chevelle is running a built 327 small block with 202 heads, a Pete Jackson gear drive, roller rockers, hardened rods with ARP bolts, an MSD ignition, Weiand’s polished tunnel ram intake with twin 660 Holleys, and the whole motor has been punched .30 over and bottom-end built with a steel crank, with the motor’s valvetrain being tapped by an all-new, street/strip cam with a fresh set of bearings.
Just as big on looks as it is performance, Corvette Mike’s ’65 Chevelle SS has over $15k invested in custom paint, and with that kind of showroom finish we can see why! The interior is equally tricked-out in a black-on-yellow color scheme, and inside, a set of Auto Meter gauges sit inside of a full-custom, carbon-fiber dash.
Otherwise, the ‘Velle’s body is said to be “laser-straight,” and the interior is like brand new, featuring a five-point belt and brand new carpet throughout. It’s a bright-colored Chevelle with pro-street perf and plenty of “glass,” and Corvette Mike
of Anaheim is proud to share it with us!
