If you’re building a Tri-Five wagon or ’66 or ’67 B-Body Mopar into a restomod, TANKS Inc. wants to help. A replacement fuel tank has been available for these models for some time, however, if you were adding EFI to the mix, the fuel tank was not really up to par for the fuel delivery needs. Thankfully, that is no longer an issue.
TANKS Inc. has heard your requests and has developed both a ’55 through ’57 wagon and ’66 and ’67 Mopar B-Body tanks that are EFI ready.
The Tri-Five EFI tanks fit Bel Air, Nomad, 150, and 210-series station wagon and sedan delivery models (does not fit nine-passenger wagons). Both tanks can take advantage of TANKS Inc’s, GPA-series fuel pumps, available in sizes from 109 to 450 liters per hour. The tanks also utilize standard aftermarket 5-bolt sending units. Speaking of sending units, multiple Ohm ranges are available to work with factory or aftermarket gauges.
The tanks feature EFI-style internal baffling with an extra-large 4.8-liter dual-tube baffled fuel tray to prevent fuel pump starvation. These tanks are perfect for your pro-touring, autocross, or modernized street cruiser.
The fuel pump and sender are recessed in the tank for easy installation with no modification needing to be done to your car. That means they look like an OE tank when installed. The tanks are coated galvanized steel and then powdercoated Silver to ensure long-lasting good looks.
