Phillip Walker Wins The TMI TRIM Award At The C10 Nationals

TMI Products TRIM Awards Traveling Road Show visited the C10 Nationals in search of its next big winner. The event provided a target-rich environment of excellent trucks to choose from, but in the end, there can be only one winner. Phillip Walker’s 1971 C10 brought home the award and earned an invite to the 2023 SEMA show.

The TRIM Awards Road Show was created by TMI as a way to find the best TMI interiors in the country and bring them all to SEMA to participate in the TMI Trim Awards. This show provides people from all over the country to be a part of the big show in Vegas during SEMA. Matt de los Cobos and his 1972 K5 Blazer won the first TRIM Awards Road Show at Goodguys Del Mar. You can learn more about the TMI Trim Awards right here.

Phillip Walker brought his immaculate 1971 C10 to Fort Worth, Texas to participate in the 2023 C10 National, little did he know how big the event would be for him. Chris Baker, owner of CK Magazine and the C10 Nationals served as the honorary judge for the TRIM Awards Show at the C10 Nationals and Walker’s truck caught his eye.

Walker’s C10 uses the perfect mixture of OEM parts and aftermarket goodies to really make it stand out. The truck is powered by a well-dressed small block Chevy that looks right at home in between the C10’s fenders. Inside the cab, Walker incorporated TMI’s 60” Pro-Series bench seat and molded door panels.
