Video: CPP’s New Aluminum High-Capacity Nova Gas Tank

A rotten old gas tank can cause a myriad of problems. In fact, if you’ve invested in a high-performance mill, the last thing you want is a weak stream of dirty gas to your engine. Not to worry as Classic Performance Products’ (CPP)  all-new aluminum gas tank is here!

CPP’s Danny Nix goes over all the details that make this the best new race-ready Nova gas tank on the market. The tank has three openings, one that will accept a five or six-bolt fuel sending unit and two openings to run one or two fuel pumps. It will work with a CPP fuel pump or most aftermarket pumps as well.

The CPP aluminum gas tank will work with EFI and carbureted engines. The unit has a built-in surge tank that feeds the engine, while the lift pump keeps the surge tank full. If you want to run an external fuel pump, the CPP tank is set up for that too. The tank uses the stock filler neck system so you don’t have to make any modifications to the car.

Last but not least, if Darth Vadar custom ordered a fuel tank it would look like this. Make sure you check out the YouTube clip above to see all the features these tanks offer. For more info and details on CPP’s new gas tank for the 1962-1967 Nova, go here.
