The Road Less Traveled: Valley Of Fire Cruise 2022

Las Vegas is known for its fast-paced lifestyle where people come from all over the world to vacation and party. And once a year, we come to take the road less traveled and get out of Las Vegas ahead of Holley’s LS Fest West on our Valley of Fire Cruise.

Once again, this year, LS enthusiasts showed up in vehicles of all types to participate in the cruise. We had muscle cars, pre-runners, imports, hot rods, and modern muscle cars along for the gorgeous ride through one of Nevada’s most beautiful state parks.

Valley Of Fire Cruise 2022

The Valley of Fire cruise was slightly different from the last one we had back in 2021. On the way to the state park, we met up with a series of exotic cars (about 20) headed the same way we were. The sight was an interesting one because we had a combination of LS-powered American-made vehicles in the right lane and a few imports. In the left lane, the exotics rolled up with Lamborghinis, Mclarens, Audis, and a GTR or two. And while most like the looks and thoughts of owning a supercar, the right lane had a lot more character and was in stark contrast to the left.

After rolling down the highway for a bit, the exotics went on their way as we did as well. We then turned off the main road and headed to the Valley of Fire Park entrance. And while the scenery leading up to the park is beautiful, it becomes breathtaking once in the park itself. The road twist and turns with impressive elevation changes. And the rock formations are nothing short of extraordinary with bold colors.

After driving for a few miles inside the park’s entrance, we met up at the White Domes. The 1.1-mile loop offers beautiful scenery and a 150-foot elevation change. Here, we pulled over and took an opportunity to take pictures of some of the participants. Again, we were lucky enough to have some extraordinary Pro-Touring cars, including first- and second-gen Camaros and a few killer Novas, Corvettes, Camaros, and trucks. Be sure and check out the gallery below.

The Valley of Fire cruise never disappoints when it comes to the scenery, as it is stunning. And while that’s awesome, being able to enjoy it with car enthusiasts makes it that much better. If you’re planning on attending LS Fest West next year, show up a day early and cruise with us, you’ll be glad you did.
