It should come as no surprise that we’ve been to car shows all over the country. And while some are better than others, you would be hard-pressed to find a more desirable and entertaining show than Holley’s LS Fest. Every year this event keeps getting bigger with more fans, more cars, and of course, more LS swaps. And if you want to attend this year’s show, you better get a move on because the clock is ticking as LS Fest East draws closer.
LS Fest East occurs every year at one of our favorite facilities, Beech Bend Raceway Park, outside of Bowling Green, Kentucky, which happens to be Holley’s headquarters. This venue offers plenty of room for the three-day event, which includes road racing, autocross, drag racing, drifting, burnout contest, and dyno contest, to name a few. And suppose you want to participate in any of these competitions. In that case, you better hurry as some packages like the popular Grand Champion and three-day autocross pack are already sold out, with others filling up fast.
We talked to Blane Burnett, Holley’s Events & Influencer Relations Manager, to get the inside scoop of this year’s show. He said, “The Grand Champion competition and autocross sold out within 48-hours of opening registration which has never happened before.” And other areas of the show are expanding as well. “The car show is really growing along with drag racing too. Boxo Tools is coming back this year for the Bolt-On Power Challenge along with Lucas Oil and the Drift Challenge. We’re expecting our LS Fest East 2021 show to be bigger than ever,” explained Burnett.
One thing’s for sure, Holley knows how to throw a party, and they have a recipe for success. With LS Fest West 2021 up 70-percent over 2019, we’re excited to see what Bowling Green has to offer this year. We hope to see you there, and remember, ticket sales and participant registrations are available online only, meaning no on-site registrations. For more information, please visit LSFest.com.
