Photo Gallery: The OPGI Chevy Show Was A Day To Remember

Each year, the folks at Original Parts Group (OPGI) in Seal Beach, California put on a couple of car shows that many look forward to attending. the two shows OPGI decided to put on this year, were – one for pre-1988 Buick, Pontiac, Oldsmobile, and Cadillac fans (which happens July 13, 2019), the one that just happened on June 8, for the fans of Chevrolet cars.

If you missed the event, shame on you. The weather was great and there were prizes given away throughout the day. It was a packed house, we were told there were more than 150 cars in attendance, and all had a great time.

Allen Storris’ ’69 Camaro deserved the VIP choice it received.

Some of the folks that certainly had a good time were David Steffen, whose ’77 El Camino won Best Daily driver, Edwin Garcia and his ’87 Monte that took best G-body, Billy Nelson, who took home Best Custom, Eddie Swanenburg with the Best Original, and Allen Storris and his VIP-award winning ’69 Camaro SS. The VIP award was chosen by Bill Sinko and Fred Schmitthammer of the SoCal Chevelle and El Camino Club
