
Eleven-time SCCA National Solo Champion, Mary Pozzi will be representing Hotchkis Sport Suspension in the Goodguys 1st Sponsor Shootout Autocross, this weekend in Columbus, OH. The folks from Hotchkis are otherwise involved this weekend in the NMRA/NMCA Hotchkis Autocross at California Speedway.
Few others could have been chosen to represent Hotchkis equally well in Columbus. The classic muscle car suspension manufacturer believes that the proof is in the performance and is a strong supporter of Autocross events across the country.
The California girl will run her ’73 Camaro RS, much to the delight of spectators and not a few competitors as well. While the amiable Autocross expert regularly dominates the competition, she is equally pleased to help newcomers out.

Mary’s bright orange 2G Camaro packs a Chevrolet LS2 under the hood, with a Spectre cold air intake system. Power is delivered to the pavement through a T56 Magnum 2-speed transmission. The bowtie’s suspension, which features some ‘neat Hotchkis Sport Suspension bits and pieces’ also includes RideTech adjustable shocks and Baer brakes. The wheels are 18-inch Forgelines wrapped in Falken rubber. Anvil Auto is responsible for the lightweight carbon fiber body panels.
The 14th PPG Nationals presented by Bridgestone is runs Friday through Sunday at the Ohio Expo Center in Columbus. Autocross events run all weekend. General admission is $18.
