No matter how rich you are, the rules of the road remain the same- aka. you aren’t supposed to run red lights, speed or hit other cars. But as it turns out, some people seem to need a reminder of this more than others. According to TMZ.com, Wiz Khalifa may just be one of those people as the celebrity gossip website is reporting the singer was recently involved in a wreck and alleged hit and run with his ‘69 Chevelle convertible. Hopefully the Los Angeles Police Department will get to the bottom of the incident and bring justice to the now crumpled muscle car.

The investigation surrounding the wreck has been ongoing since Wednesday when a woman filed a report stating that Khalifa, an up-and-coming rap artist, hit her car when he was leaving a music video shoot in his Chevelle and then left the scene. According to an eye witness, the driver of the Chevelle punched the gas leaving the shoot and lost control of the car causing it to hit a Lexus that then slide into the third party’s car.

The LAPD are investigating the allegations of a hit and run, although TMZ doesn’t believe Khalifa ran in his Chevelle (if he did flee the scene) due to damages sustained by the vehicle. You can also hear someone claiming to be the driver of the car in the grainy video below that TMZ obtained from the scene.

No matter what the outcome of the investigation is, the real tragedy here is the wrecked Chevelle, which appears to be a 396 SS. But with Khalifa raking in the dough from his rapping career, we can only hope that the car will be back on the road in no time.
