Wild Ride Wednesday: Hold My Beer And Watch This!

Rednecks. You gotta love them. They’ll try anything once the beer googles are on.

We found a video of one of the most trailer park wild rides that anyone with a Chevy truck can experience. Yep, you guessed it… a failed Dukes of Hazzard jump.

We’re talking about a real redneck type of jump where the ramps are made of piled dirt. None of those fancy ramps for our hero on this attempt.

So if you happen to be sitting around one afternoon after slamming some brewskies while you’re doing a brake job on your truck, and you happen to notice an endloader or bulldozer nearby… there’s always the potential to pile some dirt into a ramp and calculate the distance and speed to jump from one pile of dirt to another. For some extra excitement, you can put a junk economy car between the launch ramp and recovery ramp to help build excitement.

Important safety note: Make sure you have enough room to get up to proper speed. This may require several attempts to back up as far as the truck can go.
