Digital car renderings let artists go wild, often mashing up old-school iron with crazy modern ideas. Timothy Adry Emmanuel’s latest creation does just that, turning a workhorse Chevy C70 truck into a monster 6×6 off-road hauler that looks straight out of Baja, complete with a matching chase vehicle on its back.

Starting with a ’79 C70 squarebody – the kind you usually see as a dump truck – Emmanuel digitally slammed a 6×6 drivetrain underneath and jacked it way up on radical long-travel suspension.

You can see the bright red control arms and coilovers popping against the truck’s mean matte black paint in the renderings shared on his Instagram account. Huge, aggressive mud-terrain tires fill the fenders, signaling its fictional off-road intent, have also been added.

Emmanuel didn’t stop there. He updated the C70’s classic face with modern Light-Emitting Diode (LED) halo headlights, cube lights tucked into the bumper area, and even a light-up Chevy bowtie for extra attitude. Up top, a big amber lightbar and more LEDs complete the rugged lighting package.

What does a rig like this haul? An equally tough-looking modern Chevy Blazer crossover, naturally. Emmanuel tweaked the digital Blazer to match the hauler’s vibe, giving it a big lift, knobby off-road tires on custom beadlock wheels, and similar Light-Emitting Diode (LED) light upgrades. Viewed from the back, the C70’s massive tandem axles and beefy suspension parts look ready for serious punishment.

While it only exists on screen, Emmanuel’s creation definitely taps into the real-world trend of enthusiasts customizing these vintage medium-duty General Motors (GM) trucks. His rendering captures that spirit perfectly, pushing the limits of imagination.
