Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet has announced the latest special edition, tribute Camaro series; the Intimidator. Driven by a modified, supercharged V8 running 11 pounds of boost, the Camaro produces an intimidating 704hp and 695 lbs-ft of torque.

Based on the Eaton Generation VI 2300 TVS Supercharger Rotating Assembly, the system also sports dual, high-capacity bar and plate coolers, a high capacity, front mounted water-to-air heat exchanger and high flow cold air intake. Each car is custom tuned for peak efficiency.

Adding to the car’s substantial performance is a highly modified suspension, along with chassis, exhaust system, brake and fuel system upgrades. Included is a custom Intimidator shifter, built from one solid piece of aluminum, grooved for improved grip and anodized black with a 3 on top as well as an Intimidator logo down the shaft.

The Intimidator’s appearance carries cues from the race cars that Dale Earnhardt used during his personal reign of Intimidation. These include cues like a racing inspired, aluminum blade spoiler with support braces and a more modern racing splitter with support braces for improved downforce. Pushing more air to the monster of an engine is the distinctive air induction hood with raised cowl.

Finishing off the distinctive look are chrome plated Intimidator badges, a classic heritage grille, menacing afterburner tail lamps, 6LE Designs’ White Faced Gauges and chromed wheels with ‘Intimidator’ engraved on one spoke. Performance and distinction are enough to Intimidate most competition and this Camaro from Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet has it in spades.

Kerry Earnhardt has also announced, via Facebook, that fans will be able to purchase $100 raffle tickets, supporting the Dale Earnhardt Foundation, to win a Camaro Intimidator. Available in Standard and Historic editions, the starting price for the Intimidator is $79,993. Each of the limited edition Historic edition cars celebrates a major milestone in Earnhardt Sr’s career.
