Radio City Music Hall in New York city. For a long time it was the leading tourist destination in the city. Declared a landmark in 1978, the grand old hall has hosted events like the Grammy Awards, the Tony Awards, MTV Video Music Awards and the NFL Draft.
We found a video on YouTube that was created for an underground DVD where the hall would once again be featured. This time the performer was a 1970 Chevrolet Nova SS with a little muscle under the hood.
“I don’t know what we are going to do… but it got to be funky,” says the driver as the video camera captures the action.
The crew blocks off the intersection in front of the music hall and the Nova pulls into the center of the intersection. After revving the engine a few times for effect, the driver locks the front brakes and plays some sweet tire music for the theater.

After 18 seconds of tattooing 6th avenue, the Nova rolls out and fish-tails down the avenue dragging a cloud of burnt tire smoke behind it.
Watching this video made us wonder if any other historical landmarks have been experienced the same type of tire burning respect?
