This past weekend in Oklahoma City, OK a group of people ransacked a house. Reported from Fox Channel 4 News, they stole the Billy Hare’s, guns, electronics and two cars.

One of the cars was his prized 1968 Camaro. Hare had personally restored this with his son in law. The car is valued at $85,000, but Hare says “It has a lot of value both monetarily and sentimentally.”

Lucky for Hare, the other car stolen was his Cadillac Escalade. With OnStar, they were able to quickly track down the car and recover it. When authorities started going through the car, they found an important clue to who the thief was.

What they found was a receipt in the Escalade for Jack-In-The-Box. Looking at the time stamp they determined it was the thief who bought the cheeseburgers. After reviewing the surveillance footage they found the Escalade going through the drive thru. This allowed authorities to get a picture of the thief.

With this photograph they are hoping to track down the thief, and therefore get back the prized ’68 Camaro. Billy said that “the main thing is I want to get my car back and get the guy caught.”

“It was special” says Billy, “It’s a 1968 Camaro. There are not too many of them and this one was mine.”

We hope that our readers will keep an eye out for this car and help Billy get his pride and joy back home.
