Every car enthusiast out there has their dream car. This would be the car that you would sell a kidney, firstborn, and right leg to obtain. For some Chevy enthusiasts it doesn’t get much better than the ’67 Chevrolet Camaro. The ’67 Camaro was the first year of the mustang rival and is sought after by any car collector.
Unfortunately, it is also a frequent target of car thieves. Recently on Friday, June 24 during the Cruisin’ Grand cruise night in Escondido, California, Starlite Rod and Kustoms gold ’67 Chevrolet Camaro with black interior and billet rally rims was stolen. Opened in 2003, Starlite Rod & Kustom is a full-service custom and restoration shop that caters to pre-1970’s, American-made cars. Located between Los Angeles and Long Beach in Torrance, CA.
The car would compete in autocross events across southern California and was a fan favorite at car shows and cruises. The California license plate number is 6CGW658. If your in the San Diego area and can provide any information on the location of the ’67 custom Camaro please contact Jack or Edgar at Starlite Rod and Kustom (310) 328-5222. Tips can also be posted on Starlite’s Facebook page.
