The 2024 car show season is already upon us in certain areas of the country and the folks at Speedtech Performance aren’t wasting any time getting out there to enjoy the sun, fun, and meet new customers. They’ve packed the calendar full for 2024. They’ll be bringing their huge trailer, and accompanying “Team Speedtech” vehicles to help highlight the company’s wares, as well as to haul a few trophies home from the various competitions.

Right off the bat, Team Speedtech packed up their hauler and headed out for the massive Barrett-Jackson Auction in Scottsdale, Arizona. Right after that, Speedtech team member, Chris Smith headed down to Sebring, Florida with his blue second-gen Camaro, to compete in Round One of the Ultimate Street Car Association’s event. The competition is a test of each vehicle’s performance, street-ability, and engineering workmanship.

Chris begins the year defending his 2023 national champion season, which he clinched with this 1970 Camaro.

Chris not only finished the weekend on top of the Speedtech Performance GTV class, but he finished in first place overall. Additionally, Team Speedtech had Jason Smith finish sixth in his ‘87 Camaro, and Randy Johnson wheeled his 1969 Camaro into seventh place.

The very next event will be in just a few weeks at the Muscle Cars At The Strip event in Las Vegas, Nevada. You can also see the Speedtech troop at various LS Fest events, the C10 Nationals, a smattering of Goodguys events, as well as the big SEMA show where the Optima Ultimate Street Car Invitational will be held on November 5-8, 2024.
