It is true that any real car project is never really done. There are always tweaks, no matter how minor, that one will find himself making to any car build. A ’67 Camaro project posted up on Pro-Touring.com is no exception to this.
In fact, the forum member who owns this classic ride thought he was done with his project at one point but has since decided to completely redo the exterior of the vehicle.
For this round of the project, the owner has stretched the front fenders and rear quarters, welded in all the body seams, removed the drill rails and added a valence from the 1969 model.
Custom spoilers will be added to the front and rear of the car. The paint scheme is also scheduled to be changed from the silver gray color of the original to HOK Tangelo Pearl with a dark tint once all the body work is complete.
The body work that has been done so far is impressive, giving the ‘67 Camaro a truly unique flair. We look forward to seeing the “finished” product of this dedicated owner’s hard work. It will be interesting to see how long he remains satisfied with the project until he decides to do something else with the car.
