AutocozEvery now and again, we get an e mail come across our desk that is just too important to overlook. Not that every e mail isn’t important, but some do come from our supervisor. Anyway, such was the case when we heard about how AutoZone, AutoCoz, and the Goodguys Rod and Custom Association were teaming up to help children that are dealing with Cancer.

For the Foundation, this ‘Save $5, Give $5’ initiative is about raising awareness for our mission – to erase the effects of pediatric cancer – and raising funds to support our mission, – Foundation President Amy Jo Osborn
These companies, together with the Austin Hatcher Foundation for Pediatric Cancer, have developed a program called the Save $5, Give $5 Fundraising Initiative.

This initiative is really easy, and not only will you be helping children, there is a perk for you as well. How it works is, the Goodguys Rod and Custom Association has teamed with AutoCoz – an organization that helps car clubs and car enthusiasts with charitable fundraising, and AutoCoz client Shell/Pennzoil for the Save $5, Give $5 fundraiser that will run from Nov. 2 through Dec. 24, 2015. We are directing everyone we can to the AutoCoz website, so they can to download a coupon to save $5 when they purchase (1) 5-quart bottle or (5) 1-quart bottles of Pennzoil Platinum full-synthetic motor oil. The coupon is redeemable at participating AutoZone locations. In addition to the discount you get, $5 will be donated to the Austin Hatcher Foundation of the Goodguys Rod & Custom Association by Pennzoil/AutoCoz with each purchase.

The mission of the Austin Hatcher Foundation is to erase the effects of pediatric Cancer, and optimize each child’s quality of life through essential specialized intervention. This interaction begins at the time of diagnosis, and continues throughout survivorship. The foundation provides services to children with Cancer, and their families, through its Cancer care center, Hatch’s House of Hope. The foundation provides all services at no cost to the families, as the services are funded solely by the generous donations of supporters like you folks getting these coupons. For more information, visit the Hatcher Foundation website, or contact the foundation via email at info@hatcherfoundation.org.
