Back in May, we informed you guys about the upcoming car shows that Original Parts Group (OPGI) is having at its Seal Beach location. To give you a refresher, you can click here to see the announcement.

Having a great car show requires more than simply offering participants the opportunity to park their cars and sit in lawn chairs all day. The great folks at OPGI understand this, and want to make its show series enjoyable – and memorable – for everyone. To that end, we have obtained a list of things that are sure to make the Chevrolet show on June 8, something to remember.

Many great vendors will be on-hand to discuss and offer prizes for participants.

According to Natallie Loukas, of the digital marketing and social media department, “We will have five awards at the Chevy show, Best G-Body, Best Daily Driver, Best Custom, Best Original, and a VIP selection.”

Trophies aren’t everything, and there will also be prize drawings that include a one-year subscription to Hemmings Muscle Machines, parts from Autometer, a $100 gift certificate towards a California Performance Transmission product, a gift certificate from Procar to be used toward a Pro-90 seat, a gift certificate from Dinstinctive Industries for front and rear upholstery ($275 value), and a 300 Series stereo from Vintage Car Audio.

You will also be able to talk to manufacturer’s representatives and check out items from Guaranty Chevrolet, Aldan American, Bob Baker Ltd, Shiftworks, Scat Enterprises, and more.

Finally, you can partake in some great food from various food trucks, and this year’s charity being supported is Community Family Guidance Center (CFGC). CFGC aims to support the success of children and families by reducing the impact of childhood trauma and abuse, encouraging the development of positive social and emotional skills, and strengthening healthy family relationships.

To achieve these goals, they provide an array of mental health services designed to help families and individuals function at their highest levels. From prevention programs to intensive outpatient programs, they provide an array of services specifically designed to support each person and family’s unique needs.
