We found a unique deal on eBay, and you still have over 6-days to bid. According to the seller, this 1957 Chevy 4-door sedan was a California car that is being sold by a private seller. Advertised as a moderated recent restored car, including the interior and paint, the sedan also has a “newer Goodrich engine” with 350 turbo-hydramatic automatic transmission.
“This car has been restored and is in very good condition. It is ready to drive and enjoy,” explained the seller. “If you want to show it off, it could use some TLC.”
Other features include an Edelbrock intake, 4-barrel carburetor, headers and electronic ignition. It was been converted from a generator to alternator system with electronic fuel pump. Comes with all belts, hoses and a recored radiator.
The current owner states, “When I purchased it had a rebuilt front end with two inch drop spindles, power disc brakes, dual exhaust, new tires & wheels, rear brakes, battery, tune-up, rear bumper with ends and grill bar. I purchased it in Iowa and since then I’ve added new stock spindles, coil springs, shocks, rotors, pads, calipers, a front end alignment, dual mufflers, and new wiring. It definitely runs strong. The dropped spindles and whole front end is in the trunk. The paint does show a little wear but is still very good…”
The current bid is at $5,000 but the reserve has not been met. Fair warning, the car is currently in Ferryville, Wisconsin, and the buyer is responsible for vehicle pick-up or shipping.
Good bidding and good luck!
