For  those of us who skipped auto shop in high school, our car addiction is dependent on a the skills of a talented mechanic/builder.  Every day, we stand amazed at the talent and creativity shown again and again in shops and private garages across the country. A good example of said talent is Steve Keefer’s East Bay Muscle Cars in Brentwood, CA. From LS swaps to custom builds, they’ve got some good stuff goin’ on for the Chevy aficionado and this Nor-Cal shop has been getting a lot of buzz these days.

We’ll spotlight a trifecta of recent EBMC Camaro projects for your viewing pleasure so you can see what they got cookin’. First up, Check out this big, black 2^nd Gen Z-28 with small block power, Wilwood brakes, Speed Tech control arms, QA-1 coil overs and some great looking Rushforth wheels on BF Goodrich rubber. We’re partial to early seventies, chrome bumpered F-bodies and this build adds just the right amount of “new” to the old school cool.

Next up is the awesome “Tenacity” ’69 Camaro Pro Touring build, a Top 5 finalist for Street Machine of the Year at GoodGuys Ohio. With 650 HP LS3 and T-56 Magnum 6-speed, this thing looks good in low key gunmetal grey, silver stripes and houndstooth interior. Stay tuned because we’ll have a full feature on the car coming up!

Last but not least, check out the killer, red ’69 Camaro Convertible running an LS6 swap with 450 HP and a TKO-600 5-speed. Again, just enough new to bring into this century without going all billet or some other nutty direction.
