If you’re into trucks, you certainly know that all years of haulers are getting the recognition they deserve. Parts for rebuilding and hot-rodding these once utilitarian vehicles are becoming more prevalent. Tuff Stuff Performance Accessories has joined the support by offering Saginaw-style power steering pumps for 1996 through 2013 GM trucks with hydroboost-assisted brakes.
The pump/reservoir assemblies are available in either chrome plating or Stealth Black powdercoat. These pumps have a ¾-inch OD shaft for use with a press-on pulley. They also have a factory 5/8-18 inverted flare pressure port and two 3/8-inch OD return tubes. The new-and-improved pump reservoir is made from 20-gauge cold-rolled steel and is furnace-brazed for premium quality. Pumps are rated at 1,200 PSI at 3 gallon-per-minute, feature all new components, and include a chrome-plated billet-aluminum cap and dipstick. These power steering pumps will also work on any custom-built project equipped with aftermarket hydroboost brake system. All Tuff Stuff power steering pumps are built in Cleveland, Ohio.
