When Chevrolet released the C2 Corvette (1963 through 1967), the car was already a hit with Americans. The two-seater was designed to be a great handling automobile, but that was decades ago. As good as early Corvettes are in stock form, there are improvements that can be made. And to help you do that, Performance Online (POL) has what you need.
Check out the latest from POL, a high-performance 1963-82 Chevy Corvette tubular control arm and coilover kit. Suspension upgrades are becoming more and more popular, and for good reason. Adding the POL tubular upper and lower control arms is a great way to improve frontend strength and handling. This is done by offering less deflection than factory-stamped units. The control arms even include bump stops and have improved ball joint clearances.
Aldan American Phantom Series, single-adjustable coilovers deliver superior handling and ride quality for a drastic improvement over the stock suspension. The high-tensile springs are designed to offer ride-height adjustability since they mount to the bottom of the coilover, and then fit into the factory upper spring pockets. Ride-height adjustability is available up to 2 inches. These are great for street applications. The use of factory upper cross shafts is recommended. To increase the cornering capabilities and allow for better alignment, the tubular upper arms include an extra four degrees of caster.
