Interior innovator, TMI Products has announced a complete interior product line for the 1959 Chevrolet Impala. This launch represents the company’s first comprehensive offering for this iconic car. The new line updates the interior while preserving key design elements, such as the original Impala badging on the rear seat.

For the interior upgrade, new door and quarter panels are available. These molded panels come in two patterns: Sport and Sport-DD (Double Diamond). Constructed from durable ABS plastic, the panels are installed easily using factory mounting points. They also feature integrated armrests for added comfort.

Customers can also select various fabric and stitching colors to personalize their interiors. Above the panels, TMI offers a fiberglass replacement headliner with sail panels. The new headliner creates a smooth, integrated appearance. the new headliner includes cutouts for the dome light and places for sun visor installation. Complementary sun visors, created from customer-selected materials, complete the top side for a high-quality finish. Lastly, a flat panel package tray covered in premium vinyl finishes off the rear side of the roof area.

Moving to the floor, TMI provides premium carpet kits. These kits consist of six separate pieces, which offer improved fit compared to common two-piece designs. This setup allows for adjustments to the vehicle’s floor, which prevents gaps and bumps in the carpet.

The carpets come in German Square Weave, Cut Pile, and Loop style materials, with varied colors and edge binding. In addition to carpets, TMI also released CNC-cut floor mats. These mats fit the Impala floor precisely. A pin-patterned, rubberized backing keeps the mats in place. A heat-sealed heel pad on the driver’s side mat adds extra protection.

Regarding seating, customers can choose from TMI’s Pro-Series or Pro-Classic front bucket seats. The seats are installed with application-specific, low-profile mounting brackets. These brackets allow for a straightforward, bolt-in installation.

Finally, completing the interior is the molded, full-length sport console. This console offers features absent from the original offering, including twin cup holders, a storage compartment, and an armrest. The console comes in various materials and stitching options to complement the interior. Customers can customize each product with different colors and patterns to suit their tastes. TMI’s online configurator simplifies the process of designing a custom interior and allows customers to visualize their creations easily.
