There is no denying that trucks are a hot commodity with enthusiasts. Just hit any car show or cruise night and it’s readily apparent. While the C10 seems to be at the forefront of the truck market, the models build before that are just as cool. Take for instance the mid-‘50s haulers. These utility vehicles have become great hot rods for many, and upgrades are abundant. Now, you can even get new truck gauges for your ’54 and ’55 Chevy truck.
These early trucks make great hot rods, and companies like Classic Instruments want to make sure you can get the parts you want to personalize your hauler and make it great. For that reason, the gauge company has just released two new styles of truck gauges within its current offering of 1954 and 1955 truck direct-fit packages.
These truck gauges might appear to be OE correct - and they are supposed to - but they feature modern operation to ensure accurate readings.
The two new styles of truck gauges are designed to mimic the OE look of both Chevy and GMC truck models. Each cluster is made with a billet-aluminum center medallion and utilizes factory-correct colors to bring a retro look back to your truck. While the gauges might look “vintage,” they are built with function on par with today’s technology. Each cluster includes a quad gauge, offering fuel, oil, temp, and volt gauges. The all-in-one package comes with either a standard speedometer or a Speetachular, which is Classic Instruments’ speedometer and tachometer combination.
These two new styles for 1954-’55 trucks can be purchased from Classic Instruments direct or through any one of its authorized dealers.
