If you love muscle cars and aren’t following MuscleKingz, then you’re probably living under a rock. They’re the biggest thing to hit Instagram’s muscle car scene since hashtags.

For the few of you out of the loop, MuscleKingz has been promoting its car show and concert that’s going down in Bakersfield, California on April 13th, 2019. So, there’s still time to get your tickets – you’re not going to want to miss this one!

What more could you ask for from a car show and concert?!

Basically, they’re going to have everything car people could want from a car show, and more! Not only will there be a venerable buffet of badass muscle cars, hot rods, and trucks, but this show will feature some rowdy bands and celebrities as well.

The show will be hosted by Brad and Doug DeBerti of Discovery Channel’s hit show, Twin Turbos. If you haven’t caught the show or seen their antics on Instagram, be sure to check them out (@braddeberti @deberti).

The show follows Brad’s racing career, and the custom cars he and his father build. You’ll probably recognize Brad’s 1,000 horsepower, LS-powered drift truck from shows like SEMA Ignited. You can be sure it’s going to tear it up in Bakersfield, along with a whole slew of other cars and trucks they’ve built.

We actually had a chance to speak with Brad DeBerti about some of the things attendees can expect to see when they go to the car show and concert. He was almost as juiced about the whole thing as we are! That probably has something to do with the fact that Brad was actually born and raised in Bakersfield.

Bring your goggles with you, because chunks of rubber will fly!

Brad will be swinging his single-cab during three different drift demos throughout the show. He told us, “I’m really looking forward to putting on a great show, having fun, and mingling with everyone that comes out. We’ll be out there with the whole Twin Turbos crew having a great time, and showcasing for my hometown.”

Who knows when the last remaining 440 R/T General Lee will be in the United States again? Don’t miss your chance to see it live!

Speaking of cars and trucks, one car slated to be in attendance is some muscle you’ll all know – the General Lee! That’s right, Ken Johnson, of MuscleKingz told us, as part of the Good Ol’ Boys Tour (celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Dukes Of Hazzard), the last surviving ’69 Dodge Charger 440 R/T used in the filming of Dukes Of Hazzard will be in attendance.

The General actually made the trip all the way out from Germany, thanks to Chrome Cars, and the Automotive Archeaologists. As if that isn’t enough to get your nostalgia levels piqued – several of the original cast members will be there, too! – Tom Wopat (Luke Duke), Catherine Bach (Daisy Duke), Ben Jones (Crazy Cooter), Rick Hurst (Deputy Cletus), Sonny Shroyer (Enos Strate), Chris Hensel (Cousin Jeb Duke) and Byron Cherry (Coy Duke) will all be there.

But wait, there’s more! According to Ken, “The event will feature a day of live music headlined by multi-platunum singer/songwriter Kip Moore, known for his high-energy sets that have made him “one of country music’s most tireless and powerful live draws” (Rolling Stone). Additionally, multi-media personality Bobby Bones who recently won Season 27 of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars and has returned to the latest season of ABC’s American Idol as the official in-house mentor, will take the stage with his band The Raging Idiots. Also performing on the MuscleKingz KUZZ Stage include Parmalee, Tom Wopat, Whey Jennings, Cooter’s Garage Band and Tom Solis.”
