If you don’t know Brian Thomson, you should. Owner of Thomson Automotive in Wixom, Michigan, Brian has been working with the automotive manufacturers for years. Not just General Motors, all of them.

When the factory boys want some third party testing done, or they have a special project, Thomson Automotive is one of the select few that gets a call. Working for years behind the scenes, Thompson has played a big role in the development of modern factory engines. No one will actually say how much of a role Thomson has played in this capacity but we were told that “Brian deserves a lot more attention than he gets. He has been quietly involved with secret projects for the big three for decades.”

As an example of Thomson’s work, we were on hand a couple years ago to film one of his crazy horsepower engine builds. We recently stumbled on this video and felt it was worthwhile running again.
