Here’s one for you. Nelson Racing Engines has produced one of the baddest monster motors coming out of California with their 2,200 horsepower 632 cubic inch, twin turbo, big block Chevy.
Seriously. If you are talking about monsters, you could envision this big block emerging from the South Pacific ocean and creating havoc on the city of Tokyo the likes of which has never been seen. Godzilla looks like a domestic lizard compared to this beast.
The guys over at Nelson Racing Engines (NRE) have packed this big block with a lot of goodies then strapped a couple of massive turbos on it’s shoulders to produce a crazy 2,200 horsepower tire turner. Here’s the kicker; they say it is streetable!
Some of the parts for this beast include:
- Oliver 4340 forged billet rods
- JE forged pistons
- Callies 4340 forged crank
- NRE stainless steel headers
- NRE billet intake
- NRE innercooler
- NRE valve covers
- Billet Specialties front drive system
- NRE 632cid Hot Rod series engine
We could tell you that this motor screwed up the servos on the dyno on two different runs, and we could tell you that they say it’s tame enough for the street, but instead of telling you about this redonkulous crazy street motor, let’s just take a look at the video:
Now that you’ve seen the beast, we defy you to tell us that you didn’t think of a radioactive monster coming out of the ocean and creating havoc on the streets of a major city. Godzilla may have had a tail that could knock down buildings in a single swipe, but this beast breathes fire like no other street motor in the metropolis.
