If you’ve ever gotten a traffic ticket in your life, whether deserved or not, you’ve undoubtedly wanted to stick it to the cops that ruined your day. While many of us wouldn’t let this idea go past an entertaining thought, one man recently took things peacefully into his own hands, showing his local jurisdiction just what he thought of receiving a ticket by paying his $137 citation in a very unique way. Check out the video we found on the Huntington Post website to see just how this speeding ticket was paid.

While most people would pay a ticket using a credit card, check or cash, a man going by the user name Bacon Moose on YouTube recently got a bit more creative then normal with paying his fine. Using only dollar bills, he actually folded every bit of money for his fee into origami pigs (documenting it in pictures on his website), a feet that took him nearly 6 hours, and then placed them in two Dunkin’ Donuts boxes (ah the symbolism) before taking them to the police station. The video shows the consequent encounter with the police station clerk when the man tries to pay with his pigs.

As you may guess, the clerk is not thrilled with the presentation, telling the man he won’t accept his payment because he doesn’t want to sit there and unfold the origami creatures. After some arguing and a police officer being called in, the man is told to go unfold the bills in the lobby.

In the long run, the artist got the process of folding these dollar bill pigs down to about two minutes each. Even if each one only took a couple minutes to make, would it be worth it to prove a point?

Although the man obliges, he doesn’t leave defeated. As is pointed out in the video, it only took the man 3 minutes to unfold the pigs while it took the clerk 8 minutes to count the crumpled bills, including one lone pig that was the “sole survivor of the great dollar pig massacre of 2012.”

In the long run, everyone seems to come around and get a kick out of the experience. The police officer that was called in can be seen taking photos of the pigs and even the clerk gets a chuckle out of the ordeal, although we wouldn’t necessarily be laughing if we took six hours to do something only to have to undo it in the long run. Either way, the peaceful protest of sorts made for a rather entertaining video and we give Bacon Moose, props for this daring move of peacefully sticking it to “the man.”
