We all know John Force as a legendary champion drag racer. Each year John competes to be the best in the NHRA funny car drag racing class. While not on the dragstrip John tries to give back to his community and to the children. Each year around the holidays, John puts on an annual car show that brings hot rods from all over California to share in one passion. The John Force Holiday Car Show is held to help out charities the California Highway Patrol and CHiPs for kids toy drive, giving children in need toys for the holiday season.
This year’s show turned out to be one of the largest turn outs in how history, which included over 1000 entries into the car show. Out of the 1000 entries into the show only 40 lucky cars will leave with the John Force Holiday Best of Show. Although there where many beautiful cars that came out, there was one that really caught our eye.
K&N brought out there bright orange two-tone 1955 Chevy, and walked away with a Best of Show award. This 1955 Chevy was sent to House of Kolors for a one of a kind Sunset Pearl paint job with a two-tone gunmetal color for the roof. On the hood is a hand-painted K&N logo that is surrounded by orange flames. Even though this car is an eye-catcher it still packs some punch under the hood. The engine is an all aluminum Chevy 350 Brodix block and cylinder heads. This ’55 is run on all motor with 112 octane fuel. On top of the motor is a K&N air filter, of course.
