The 5th-generation Chevrolet Camaro has roots dating back to the 1960s, and once upon a time you could order a Camaro with an engine displacing as much as 454 cubic inches. These days though, the largest engine you can get in a Camaro is a 6.2 liter, or about 378 cubic inches of displacement. That is a far cry from the big blocks of yesteryear, but there are still those who prefer their Camaros boast an excessive amount of cubes.

GT Spirit reports on an Aussie named Steve Nogas and his 2010 Chevy Camaro that has been completely converted from a muscle car into a classy drag machine, complete with a 632 cubic-inch engine and buffalo leather. Yup, 632 cubic-inches of Chevy Power. They don’t make many engines bigger than that!

The heart of this modern Camaro is a 632 cubic-inch Merlin III racing engine block. It is topped with a custom aluminum intake and a Littlefield 16-7-1 supercharger. The Pro-Filer cylinder heads and JBR carbon fiber injector hat really spruce up the look of the engine under the hood, and there are a host of other upgrades including JE Pistons and a MSD Pro Mag 12 ignition. Horsepower estimates aren’t given, but we’re betting there are literally thousands of horsepower ready to roar in that engine.

The engine is backed up by a beefy Powerglide two-speed transmission and a Street Car Fabrications differential. An AccuAir self-leveling air ride suspension is supported by MacPherson struts, while the interior boasts buffalo hides, a custom carpet, and and a four-point harness system. This Camaro is classy, modern, powerful, and classic, all rolled into one amazing automobile.
