The Hot Rod Power Tour 2011 will kickoff in sunny Cocoa Beach, Florida, June 2-5 2011. The Saturday car show will take place on June 4, at Port Canaveral. Events leading up to the big show on Saturday will include a Friday night cruise in downtown Cocoa Beach and a day at the Kennedy Space Center.

Over 3,000 hot rods, muscle cars and street rods from all over the nation will be in Cocoa Beach for the kickoff of the Hot Rod Power Tour. Several hotels are offering special event rates for the HRPT kickoff.

Due to the expected turnout make your reservations now as places to stay are dwindling.The Saturday car show at Port Canaveral will be the feature event of the Hot Rod Power Tour kickoff weekend and the start of seven cities in seven days for those that are participating.

The Saturday car show will take place in the parking lots of Cruise Terminals 2, 3 and 4 on the south side of the port and feature over 3,000 vehicles on display.  The manufacturers midway will include over 60 tractor trailers from famous names like GM Performance Parts, Edelbrock and Holley.
