If you have ever wanted a real blast from the past and you are a full size Chevy fan, then you’ll want to head off to Dallas, Texas, for the Mecum Auction at the Dallas Convention Center on October 6th through the 8th of 2011.

We found this beauty listed in the Mecum Auctions:

There are no details listed on the site about the car but we can see that it is a very clean stock appearing restoration. The clean look of the bubble top made it a perfect choice for our Full-size Fridays.

Photos of the engine bay do not conclusively show what type engine is in the Impala but it could be a 283 Turbo Fire V8 that came equipped in many of these models.  While the 283 V8’s came in a fuel injected version, this one appears to be a single carburetor model.

The period correct wide white wall tires on the stock appearing wheels really make the paint job on this classic stand out.
