eBay Find of the Day: Perfect 57,000 Mile ’67 Camaro Grandmamobile

Every now and then you find something that conventional wisdom says does not exist anymore. Case in point, this perfect base model “barn find” ’67 Camaro on eBay! We all know the skyrocketing values of 1st gen Camaros today, and prices on even the roughest examples are sky high. That being said, the seller of this 57,000 mile Camaro has a $15,000 reserve, and we’re pretty temped to snatch it up ourselves. The listing itself is enough to sell the car, as are the pictures!

According to the listing, it was bought new at Hakins Chevrolet in Clarkston, MI on December 21, 1966 by a Mr. and Mrs. Wilson from Waterford, MI who lived just minutes from the dealership. The car itself was built in Norwood, OH in December of 1966.

It’s a base model Camaro, came in Emerald green with a matching interior, Powerglide transmission, center console, a 10-bolt rear end, and still has the all original 327/210hp 2bbl motor. The Wilson’s drove the Camaro up until 1986 and the car has been in storage ever since. It even has the dealer add-on under-dash air conditioning!

While we realize that this is the perfect vehicle to take the Pro Touring route, we’d secretly love to see it stay as-in. Cars like these are getting harder and harder to find, and an all original (and unrestored) example is something to be cherished. Plus, we dig the huge white-letter 1980’s Kelly Charger tires. Call us sentimental.
