Remember that one guy back in high school that had the ’69 Camaro with a 4-speed, Cragar’s, and the tail in the air? That was the guy that we were all jealous of because of the car he got the chance to drive and because of the girls that went out with him because of it. We just found this perfect ’69 Camaro over on eBay, and it looks like someone just paid $27,500 to get the chance to be that guy themselves! It’s honestly pretty refreshing to see a Camaro like this from time to time because it seems like lately they only get noticed with an LS under the hood, exotic suspension, and 20″ wheels. We dig the Pro Touring cars as well, but sometimes it’s nice to see something a little bit old school!
This Camaro was restored in 2005 and has 4,500 miles put on it since then. Under the hood is just a little Gen 1 350 with a 4 barrel carburetor, headers, and a street cam. It’s backed up by a 4-speed Muncie and a 12-bolt posi rear end out back.
The sheet metal and paint are perfect, and the trunk, interior, and undercarriage are just as GM intended back in the day. It even has power steering, power brakes with front discs, the required Cragar SS wheels, and (of course) the tail in the air. Our 1980’s hearts love it!
