Powered by a freshly rebuilt 327cui engine with 461 double hump heads, Edelbrock Performer Intake and Endurashine carburetor, the Impala marches to the beat of about 350hp. Everything was new in the engine when it was installed, including hoses, belts, the starter and water pump. The engine also features vintage dress-up components like finned valve covers and an air breather. With the engine matted to a four-speed 700R4 transmission, the Impala promises to be a good driver in town as well as on the highway.
Making it the ultimate pro-touring car is the brand new, custom air-ride suspension that makes use of components from Air Ride Technologies, SMC and Viar. Better yet, nothing was cut or modified on the car for the suspension to be put in place. Putting a stop to resto-mod is dual reservoir, power boost brakes with slotted and drilled rotors. The car sits atop new American Racing Torque Thrust III chrome wheels and z-rated tires.
Rounding out the interior of the Impala are new, factory correct seats, carpet, headliner, kick plates and door panels. Everything inside the car is done in red and white to match the red and white paints scheme on the car. The interior also features new chrome metal work and a refinished dash.
