Believe us, we love a good clone car. Unfortunately, this isn’t it. This ’68 Chevelle had its original 350cui V8 engine in it. The car came equipped with an automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes and factory air conditioner, not to mention the bench seat. Yeah, this was no Super Sport.

The car underwent a full frame-off resto/modification, so practically everything has been rebuilt or was put on the car new.

The eBay post states that over $12,000 was spent on the paint job alone for this Chevelle, painting the A-Body black with blue stripes. The interior of the car was also blue. As you can plainly see, the current owner didn’t bother to change the interior from the factory blue green to black to match the new external hue, making for a very weird color combo.

Included with the sale of the vehicle was the original window sticker, keys, owners manual and sales brochure.

Well believe it or not, the car was sold with no reserve. After 22 bids, a high bid of just $14,600 purchased the car.

Congratulations goes out to the proud new owner of this Chevelle. Although the car was sold, the 100+ images that were posted with the eBay listing are still neat to browse through.
