While honoring our veterans never needs a special occasion, as Americans, we set aside a couple of days each year to focus on our veterans and highlight their sacrifices and accomplishments for our freedom. The National Corvette Museum has just announced that EVERY day in the month of November will be a special day for veterans who walk through their doors.
The NCM is offering FREE admission to all American military veterans, as well as police and firefighters, plus their immediate accompanying family during the month of November. All they need to do is show proof of service at the admissions counter to receive their complimentary admission.
Also, on November 7, 2019, the National Corvette Museum and NCM Motorsports Park will be hosting a special day of recognition for veterans and wounded warriors as part of their 11th Annual Vets ‘n Vettes event presented by Mobil 1. Between 10 am and 3 pm, veterans can enjoy complimentary rides around the NCM Motorsports Park’s track in Corvettes.
The NCM Kartplex will be open all day (cost is $20 per session) and those who have served will receive an additional $2 discount with ID. There will also be a Veteran’s luncheon in the track garages from 11:30 am – 1 pm, presented by Don Franklin Chevrolet of Somerset, Kentucky. The lunch is free to veterans and their spouse or guest, and all luncheon guests are asked to RSVP by calling Bryce Burklow at 270-777-4506.
