If there’s one thing that Classic Industries knows, it’s how to restore or hot rod a classic Chevrolet. We were perusing the company’s website, and when we came across this bright orange Camaro they were featuring, we had to take a second look.
The ’71 Camaro was built by Bill Dunn One Stop Shop, a hot rod and custom shop just down the street from the Classic Industries headquarters in Huntington Beach, California. In fact, the proximity was so convenient, it’s no wonder the car was rebuilt using mostly Classic Industries components.
New body panels were fitted where needed, and Prukop’s sprayed the body in the House of Kolor Tangelo Pearl. Reproduction bumpers were powdercoated charcoal metallic, and a custom sheetmetal grill was fabricated by the Bill Dunn crew. Finally, flush-mounted glass from Fesler’s smooth the appearance.
