What do you do with a photo that needs a great story for it to make sense? How about creating a caption contest for the image? Recently, a photo begging for explanation was posted up on BangShift.com. Rather than speculating what happened in the minutes before the image was taken, Bangshift asked forum members to come up with creative captions. We must say, some of the captions that members came up with were rather fitting.
The photo posted on BangShift is of a ’66 Chevelle that has somehow been positioned up hill with the front suspension compressed to its max. The nose of the car is almost touching the pavement below and a tire can be seen dangling from a drooping axel in the rear. It doesn’t look like the car was put on the hill in this manner intentionally, especially with the crowd of people that is gathered around it. Something rather interesting definitely happened to cause this situation.
While some of the captions aren’t very entertaining, others definitely brought a grin to my face. Captions like, “What do you mean I’m not lined up with the driveway, I still know how to back up a car!” and “You let my wife drive it?” are definitely worth mentioning. My favorite one of the bunch was, “Don’t need no jack! We’ll change this rear sprang then turn ‘er around and do the other one!”
While we may not know exactly what happened, making fun of the situation is quite easy. So if you’re having an off day and need something lighthearted to put a smile on your face, head over to Bangshift and try your hand at captioning this crazy photo.
