With the help of National Parts Depot, the sweepstakes, sponsored by New Beginning Children’s Homes-a charitable organization, is coming to an end on February 26, 2019. Included in this powered-packed prize package is the SS396 Chevelle, plus $10,000 to toward the prize taxes.

This fully restored Chevelle features what are some of the most-correct restoration components available in the world today. Only 2,144 of Chevy’s brutal L78 big-block engines were installed in Chevelles in 1970, and this is one of them. That makes this grand-prize SS396 Chevelle one of the rarest muscle cars on earth.

The big-block features 11.0:1 compression, a solid-lifter cam, aluminum low-rise intake, Holley 780-cfm carburetor, and high-flowing heads. It is backed by a Muncie four-speed manual transmission. Finally, the 12-bolt plants the tires.

Finished in Cranberry Red with black hood and decklid stripes, this Chevelle SS396 features a black bucket-seat interior. This factory hot rod is also the proud recipient of the coveted Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) Grand National Champion Award. That is a testament to its top-notch restoration.

Solid lifters, big cam, and a lot of compression are what makes this big-block a streetable terror.
