20th Anniversary Camaro Superfest This Weekend in Ann Arbor

Camaro lovers will unite during the Fourth of July weekend at the 20th Annual Camaro Superfest being held near Ann Arbor, MI. The festival is the longest running, Camaro-exclusive event in the U.S. Camaro Superfest 2011 starts Friday, July 1 and runs through Sunday, July 3 at Riverside Park in Depot Town. Spectator admission is free and attendees are asked to make a charitable donation.

Show features include the production ’12 ZL1 Camaro and the 2010 American Pride Camaro. Both will be on display at Camaro Superfest on Saturday, July 2nd.

Participants will be able to partake of tours of Livernois Motorsports and the National Parts Depot facility. In addition, arrangements have been made for a 3D showing of the Transformers 3 movie.

One of the more infamous things this show is known for is the eight pound goody bag. Though it doesn’t happen every year exactly, it appears that his year’s efforts were well rewarded. Online registration for the show is closed now, but onsite registration will be available.

Among the charity efforts at the show, Camaro Superfest supporting Ronald McDonald House of Ann Arbor and Grand Rapids, in honor of Doug Warren, deceased President and founder of the Western Michigan Camaro Club. For the most current information, check out the event web site.
