There is no shortage of new products vying for our attention at the 2018 SEMA Show, and we would like to get all of them in front of you so you can know about the latest and greatest in the industry. Unfortunately, we can’t be everywhere at once, and time is of the essence. Because we know they always bring the heat, one of the booths that we always make time for is Classic Performance Products.  

While there, we spoke with Javier Nunez, Senior Customer Service & Tech – and he had this to say about their new tubular control arms and coil-over conversion system for the C10 line of Chevy trucks: “This is for the C10 crowd which is constantly growing, and it’s offered as a complete kit, or customers can piece-meal the system together. The parts can also be used independently from one another. For example, the Viking shocks and CPP coil springs can be bolted to stock C10 control arms if the customer doesn’t want to go the tubular route.” The coil0ver spring rates can even be ordered to accommodate the weight of  SBC, BBC, or LS powerplants.

If they do decide on the tubular route, the Totally Tubular upper and lower control arms included in the kit are made from strong DOM steel tube. While they look great in this gorgeous blue, Javier informed us, “at this time they can be purchased in black or silver powdercoat.” Classic Performance Products currently provides options for 1963-’70, 1971-’72, or 1973-’87 Chevy trucks.
