Every year at SEMA, we are looking forward to seeing the updates on the parts that have been industry leaders for what seems like forever. How can these items be getting any better? Flex-A-Lite was no exception this year introducing its new addition to the fan lineup which is more durable, more efficient, and the same convenient size.
At the booth, we caught up with Cole Quinnell, the marketing and public relations representative for Flex-A-Lite, to get the scoop on this new fan and what makes it better than before. “This here is our new patent-pending Flex-Wave fan. These fans feature a new serrated edge with a ribbed-blade design that considerably increases air flow,” said Quinnell. “What we wanted to do was design a new fan blade that increased air flow, didn’t increase the amount of draw, didn’t require a larger diameter fan, and ultimately, didn’t increase the overall price.
The design they ended up with moves more air in the direction you’re wanting by the serrated edge. The edge of the fan flies through the airwaves easier creating less draw and actually costs less money. For an additional $50 on top of the already $100 you were going to spend on the original, you can have the much quieter and more efficient version.
Thank you to Mr. Quinnell for spending some time with us and educating us on their new technology. We are excited about working together in 2019 and testing some of these new products.
