Classic cars are all the rage these days, because with all of the upgrade parts people can throw at their cars to make them ride and handle better than they used to. But one area that was in dire need of a makeover was the ventilation system. These cars are cool to drive, but with summer cruising weather reaching the low 100’s this past summer, the cars weren’t as cool inside as they looked outside.

We’ve all seen the hideous brackets and hoses that generic A/C kits include, and good luck finding a donor car with a complete, let alone a functioning, A/C system. It was the first ever, fully electric A/C system for the B-body Mopar. This kit was very cool, with servo motors replacing all of the cable operated doors on the unit. This prototype was all computer controlled and a part of their Perfect Fit Elite System. Cordileone said, “This is a completely serviceable unit, any servo motor that fails can be replaced, and any component can also be replaced, including the power module.”

Electrical wires replace the annoying cables on their fully electric Perfect Fit system.

“For those who want to keep the factory look inside the car, but want to upgrade their A/C under the hood, our Engine Compartment Upgrade Kit will do the trick. We tailor each kit to suit the customers’ needs,” he said.

While their Original Air division is focusing on 3rd gen Camaro upgrade kits and expanding their Fox-body Mustang upgrade kits, their Retro-Fit division is focusing on the 67-76 Camaro and 64-72 Chevelle fully electric Perfect-Fit Elite systems. Like the Mopar kit, they will be completely serviceable as well.
