Over the past few years, Ringbrothers has exploded from just a body and repair shop with a few custom builds here and there to one of the top custom car builders in the country. This was extremely obvious, as when we saw their first-gen Camaro build at the show it had dozens of fans surrounding it. Allegedly, this SEMA 2016 is the largest show yet for the Ringbrothers and they are unveiling three new builds this week. The Ringbrothers are more known for their show-stopping Mustang builds. In fact, it’s only the second ’69 they’ve ever built.

The SEMA Show is somewhat of a Camaro-builders dream, especially this year. The Ringbrothers’ “G-Code” Camaro is no exception.

The brothers took the ’69’s widely-loved body lines and accentuated them with multiple billet products, hand-layed carbon fiber, a beautiful paint job, and matte gold HRE wheels custom designed to mimic the ’80s IROC-Z. Unlike the tasteful exterior, under the hood is a completely different story. It’s housing a Whipple-supercharged 416ci Wegner LS3 and is the most powerful Chevrolet they have built thus far – pushing around 1,000 horsepower. This insane power is put down through a Tremec six-speed transmission.

Don’t let its looks fool you, this thing wasn’t made to be solely a show car, as this beauty features a full Detroit Speed suspension setup, custom Ringbrothers headers, a stainless steel Flowmaster exhaust, and Baer brakes with 15-inch rotors in the front and and 14-inch rotors in the rear.

There’s no wonder why this is such a popular build at this years’ show, and subsequently won Chevrolet’s Design Award for “Car of the Year.” Its true, the Ringbrothers never disappoint, and once again, they have achieved a perfect restomod.
