A Pro-Touring.com forum member posted several pictures of his completely restored 1967 Camaro SS project last week. This cherry Camaro is being transformed from a beefed up classic to a true pro-touring muscle car.
The forum member, going by user name “youthpastor,” has only owned the Camaro since last fall when he bought it in Wyoming from Volo Cars. While the Camaro looks to be in mint condition, creature comforts are being added to make the car more comfortable to drive.
The Camaro has not undergone major modifications for the pro-touring transformation, although the car had been modified with a 454 prior to being purchased by the current owner. The current mod list includes SpeedTech arms, a Ford nine-inch rear end, Rushforth wheels and Baer brakes.
The owner of the Camaro seemed impressed at just how much aftermarket support there was for his vehicle. He even commented on how much of a difference these parts will make in the way the car drives.
The car is scheduled to be finished in the next couple weeks. The car is sure to turn heads wherever it is drive. We look forward to seeing the finished product when the time comes.
