Free stuff is always good, especially if it pertains to muscle cars. Over at Autoholics.com, they’re giving away a book dedicated to the history of the Camaro.
The book, “Camaro: Five Generations of Performance” is said cover the entire story of the Camaro. From in-depth looks at all the history-making years and sub-models to impressive photographs, this book is definitely worth having if you’re a Camaro fan.
The best part is that it could be yours for free.
Autoholics’ editor-in-chief, Rob Einaudi, posed a contest on June 1st for forum members to post why they should be the one to win the Camaro book.
The purpose of this was so that the book went to the individual who showed the most love for the Camaro. In the post, Einaudi stated that he would be announcing who won his review copy of the book on Friday- which Friday we don’t know.
Unfortunately, half of the members resorted to trash-talking each other rather than showing their true love for the car. While this is a rather normal occurrence on many forums, it’s unfortunate that even a contest where forum members have a chance at free stuff turned into a bash-fest.
While two Fridays have come and gone since the initial give-away announcement, we couldn’t find a post stating which forum member won the book.
We’re hoping this means that it’s still up for grabs. Just in case there is still a free book to be had, head over to Autoholics and show them the love we all know some of you have for the Camaro. After all, what better way to prove your love for a car than to win a contest based on your professed dedication to it?
