Have you ever wanted to own a custom Chevy that looks good going to shows, cruising or even taking your family to the beach? A Chevrolet Forum member may just have the car for you. Up for sale is a custom ‘54 resto-mod Bel Air. Although 57 years old, this custom Chevy has all modern amenities mixed in with classic flair.

The custom Chevy underwent a frame-off resto-mod restoration in 2010 in which the frame was powder coated and every bolt was replaced. The Bel Air sports a new Z24 400hp V8 engine with Rewarder Headers matted to a 700R4 automatic transmission. It also has a Positraction rear end and Fatman Deluxe Air Ride Suspension.

The sleek exterior is thanks to custom body work that includes one-piece bumpers, increased teeth in the grill, custom-fabricated skirts, peaked hood and body lines extended to the doors. All glass and chrome on the car is new. The Bel Air is finished off in a custom white and Pepper Grey exterior paint scheme with custom pin striping done by Matt Egan from Australia’s Extreme Designs. The interior is a dark and light grey- including Corvair seats. The interior also includes a CD stereo, flaw-free dash and custom chrome gauges.

With only 980 miles on the new engine, this custom Bel Air has plenty of long years ahead of it. Although its value was recently appraised at $65,000, the owner is only asking for $40,000. For more pictures of the car and owner contact information, check out the ad on the Chevrolet Forum.
